The Tourist

My senior thesis, which I had all of my last year at R.I.T. to work on, is about an annoying tourist who is thrown into a volcano. Don't worry, that's not the end, he finds stuff in there and the story continues.

All hand drawn and inked, colored on the computer and arranged with After Effects, and the backgrounds are painted with water colors. Like some previous projects, I used a sketchy inking style and colored everything with a wacom tablet to get the color to come out of the lines. This is mostly for style, but I tried to play with moving the color a bit more out of the lines during fast movement.
